In recent months, amidst a historic uprising in the United States, the online forum Just Security published a twelve-part series, Racing National Security, aimed at rendering race visible in national security to shift the dominant paradigm toward addressing issues of racial justice.

Join Just Security, the Yale National Security Law Group and the Reiss Center on Law and Security for a thought-provoking and enriching virtual conversation on Thursday, October 1, from 12:10 – 1:10 p.m., with some of the symposium’s contributors.

The event will spark and revitalize debates beyond the confines of the series and will be moderated by the symposium editor:

  • Aslı Bâli, Professor of Law at the UCLA School of Law
  • Monica Bell, Associate Professor of Law at Yale School of Law and Associate Professor of Sociology at Yale University
