About the Reiss Family

The Reiss Center on Law and Security is named after the family of NYU Law alumni Richard Reiss, Jr. ’69 and his late wife Bonnie Feldman Reiss ’69, and their children Lauren Reiss Frank and Michael Reiss. Their generous financial support and leadership have been critical to the work of the Center and to fostering NYU School of Law’s role as a leading institution for national security scholarship and dialogue.

Rick Reiss is Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the Reiss Center and is Chairman of Georgica Advisors and its affiliated entities, Reiss Capital Management and Value Insight Partners.

Bonnie Reiss (1945-2017) was an attorney with both government and private sector experience. She served as a Trustee and Vice-Chairperson of NYU Law’s Board of Trustees, and was devoted throughout her life to supporting education and educational opportunities.
